So, this song was kind of a gamble. During the older days of recording, me(Matt) and Skylar sat around just after recording the first demo take for Aircraft Adam, trying to figure out what else to put on this EP when Skylar got a call from our friend Sara. I dont remember what they were talking about but somewhere during that i picked up my mandolin and just started playing notes back and forth and thought, "shit this is good!" so I started recording what i was playing with just ambient noises of Skylar's mumbling in the background, and I kept building and building on that with other instruments all playing the same thing until i got what was the original demo for this song. Skylar's face lit up with delight when he listened to it for the first time, hearing the uplifting, "ooh"'s of the original 5-track recordings of me singing. A little ways down the road came the actual ASS recordings, we sat around Trenton's house and belted this out in a couple hours. Not much for 60 seconds but we love it.
